Mike Martin Media (MMM) has been telling powerful stories through video since 2009. Led by Mike Martin, they’ve carved out a niche working with nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations across St. Louis. But MMM was never just about cameras and production—it was born out of a desire to do things differently.

MMM built its reputation on quality, efficiency, and a genuine desire to help others. But as more production companies entered the local space, they needed a clearer way to show what set them apart—without compromising the sincerity and simplicity that made them successful in the first place.

The Challenge 

MMM had built a strong reputation over the years—trusted by nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations across St. Louis. But their digital presence hadn’t kept pace with the evolution of their work. Their website was clean and simple, but it undersold the sophistication of what they offered. At the same time, the local video production landscape had become increasingly saturated. New studios were popping up with slick reels and flashy branding, making it harder for MMM’s quieter, more values-driven approach to stand out.

They didn’t need a flashy rebrand or a trendy new look. What they needed was clarity. Clear messaging. Clear structure. A way to articulate what made them different—and better—without compromising the sincerity that had made them successful in the first place.

The challenge was to elevate without exaggerating, differentiate without losing authenticity, and make it easier for the right clients to find and trust them.

The Approach & Solution 

We started with a strategic deep-dive—competitive analysis, audience research, and a clear-eyed look at MMM’s positioning. Then we hosted a brand workshop to capture who they are through tone, voice, personality, and message in a way that felt authentic and sharp.

From there, we:

  • Built a full messaging and brand usage guide to capture what makes MMM unique—without touching their visual brand.
  • Restructured their website architecture to reflect how people actually look for video services.
  • Expanded content to clearly showcase their full range of offerings, including:

    • Motion Graphics & Animation
    • Live Streaming
    • Aerial Cinematography
  • Developed and implemented a foundational SEO strategy to improve visibility.
  • Launched paid ad campaigns to drive immediate and qualified traffic.

The Results
