A Strategic Reset for MMM

Mike Martin Media (MMM) has been telling powerful stories through video since 2009. Led by Mike Martin, they’ve carved out a niche working with nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations across St. Louis. But MMM was never just about cameras and production—it was born out of a desire to do things differently.

MMM built its reputation on quality, efficiency, and a genuine desire to help others. But as more production companies entered the local space, they needed a clearer way to show what set them apart—without compromising the sincerity and simplicity that made them successful in the first place.

The Challenge

MMM’s website reflected their eye for visuals, but with little written context. Potential clients could see the quality of their videos but didn’t have the words or pathways to fully understand the breadth of MMM’s capabilities or the values that shaped their work.

At the same time, the market for video production in St. Louis has become increasingly saturated. MMM just needed clear messaging and structure to articulate what made them different, while keeping the sincerity and simplicity that had always defined them.

The Approach & Solution

We began with a brand workshop to define MMM’s mission, vision, values, brand persona and buyer personas. This gave the team a shared framework to guide communication across marketing, proposals and client interactions.

From there, we expanded the content on their website, adding context to support different user personas and weaving in copy that explained services, process and positioning. The goal was to make the site not only visually appealing but also easy to navigate, credible and informative for new visitors.

We restructured the website to align with how potential clients search for video services, creating clear pathways for offerings like video production, motion graphics, live streaming and aerial cinematography. We also built a searchable case study library so prospects could easily view and explore MMM’s work.

Beyond the site, we supported MMM with email marketing assets and guided them on case study campaigns, creating a simpler, more effective way to nurture leads and highlight success stories. We also launched foundational SEO work and paid ad campaigns to drive both immediate and long-term visibility.

The Results

Within six months of launch, MMM landed a $250,000 client who explicitly noted the strength of their website and the ability to explore case study videos as part of their decision-making process.
