Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Tactics (GOST)

The first piece of every marketing strategy we build starts with determine what your brand’s most important marketing goals are. These should be answer the question, “What does market leadership look like for you?”

Next, we create measurable objectives for each goal. Each objective gets 1-3 metrics that help us track our effectiveness and progress toward reaching it.

Then we delve into the objectives and determine what strategies we need to use to achieve them. These are tools like SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email Marketing, and Video.

Lastly, we create the individual tactics, or action items, for each strategy. These are the bite sized pieces of execution that make a strategy come alive.
